Details of the Job/Internship
ZS is hiring an Associate Counsel with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Pune. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, advising internal teams on legal matters, and ensuring regulatory compliance across various business operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, especially tech agreements.
- Support vendor due diligence processes.
- Advise internal teams on legal issues affecting operations.
- Develop subject matter expertise in APAC privacy law.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Identify and manage legal risks in transactions.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating deals and risk mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B or LL.M).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience at a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Work authorization in India.
