Details of the Job/Internship

CHANDIGARH GROUP OF COLLEGES is hiring for the position of Associate Dean with 15-20 years of experience to join their campus in Mohali District. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead departmental planning, timetable preparation, faculty allocation, and budgeting.
• Coordinate UGC/BCI compliance and prepare documentation for inspections and audits.
• Mentor junior faculty in teaching excellence, research output, and student engagement.
• Support grievance redressal mechanisms, student disciplinary committees, and ICC/PoSH compliance.
• Collaborate with the Dean/Director and other departments to implement institutional policies effectively.

Eligibility

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.
• Supervise Ph.D. and LL.M. research scholars in accordance with UGC norms.
• Develop and update course content, curriculum design, and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary research and publish in Scopus-indexed or other peer-reviewed national and international journals.
• Contribute to academic audits, NAAC/NBA/NIRF processes, and other accreditation activities.
• Organize and oversee seminars, workshops, moot courts, legal aid camps, and faculty development programs (FDPs).
• Ph.D. in Law with a strong academic record.
• 15–20 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized university/college.
• At least 10 publications in Scopus or peer-reviewed/referred journals.
• Demonstrated success in guiding doctoral candidates.
• Prior academic or administrative leadership experience preferred.
