SPN Advisors is hiring for the position of Associate-Direct Tax with 1+ year of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

Tax Advisory & Litigation

• Provide comprehensive tax advisory services including drafting legal memoranda, due diligence reports, M&A tax planning, and restructuring support.
• Draft responses to notices and queries from tax authorities.
• Represent clients before income tax authorities.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on complex direct tax issues.

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Prepare advance tax computations, TDS returns, FLA, SFT filings, and perform 26AS reconciliations.

Client Management

• Liaise with clients to collect relevant information and documentation for advisory, compliance, and litigation assignments.
• Mentor junior team members and review their deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant, Law Graduate, or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Strong knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and procedures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
