Details of the Job/Internship
SPN Advisors is hiring for the position of Associate-Direct Tax with 1+ years of experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Tax Advisory & Litigation:
- Provide advisory services on matters including M&A Tax, Restructuring, Due Diligence, and legal memos.
- Draft responses to various notices issued by tax authorities.
- Represent clients before income tax authorities.
- Conduct in-depth research on complex direct tax issues.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Handle advance tax computations, FLA, SFT, TDS returns, and 26AS reconciliations.
- Client & Team Management:
- Communicate with clients for information collection and documentation.
- Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior team members.
Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Law Graduate / Semi-Qualified CA.
- Strong understanding of direct tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
