Details of the Job/Internship

CoinDCX is hiring an Associate Director – Legal with 10 to 15 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies (LEA).
• Respond to law enforcement and regulatory requests in accordance with applicable laws.
• Own and manage disputes and litigation processes.
• Provide evidence and statements to legal authorities.
• Report internal feedback on LEA interactions, cybercrime trends, and legal learnings.
• Develop strategic programs for engagement with government and regulatory bodies.
• Advise cross-functional teams on user grievances and internal process improvements.
• Collaborate on government responses, inquiries, or disputes.
• Educate LEAs on CoinDCX’s terms, tools, and processes.
• Represent CoinDCX at official conferences and meetings.

Eligibility

• 10–15 years of experience in legal, compliance, or related fields.
• 5+ years of direct experience working with law enforcement agencies.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with Indian laws such as IPC, IT Act (s.69A), CrPC (s.91), and data protection laws.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle large data sets, travel extensively, and work under high pressure.
