Details of the Job/Internship

Collins Aerospace is hiring an Associate Director – General Legal with 10–12 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, M&A, intellectual property, contracts, labor law, and regulatory matters.
• Lead legal compliance initiatives and manage legal operations in India.
• Oversee litigation, dispute resolution, and coordinate with external legal counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to procurement, sales, and partnerships.
• Stay updated with laws impacting the aerospace and defense sector.
• Advise on regulatory matters involving aviation, defense, and export control.
• Mentor a legal team and coordinate with global legal departments.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree (LL.M.) preferred.
• 10–12 years of post-qualification experience, with 5+ years in a senior legal role.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or technology sectors preferred.
• Strong background in contract law, IP, regulatory compliance, and governance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
