Navi is hiring for the position of Associate Director - Head of Compliance with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Strategy
- Design and execute a robust, forward-looking compliance strategy across all regulated verticals.
- Lead and mentor the Compliance team, driving performance, accountability, and growth.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to embed compliance into strategic and operational decision-making.
2. Regulatory Compliance
- Track and interpret evolving regulations, ensuring organizational compliance with all applicable laws.
- Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and controls to proactively manage compliance risks.
3. Training & Culture Building
- Design and deliver engaging compliance training programs across the organization.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance through continuous engagement, education, and visibility.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and dashboards for senior leadership and the Board, outlining risks, gaps, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, including audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
5. Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the principal point of contact for all regulatory bodies, auditors, and external consultants.
- Build strong internal networks with cross-functional teams to ensure unified compliance initiatives across the organization.
Eligibility
- Advanced professional degree preferred – CA, CS, LLB/LLM, or MBA.
- Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience in financial services, specifically in compliance, risk advisory, or control functions.
- Proven experience managing regulatory inspections/audits.
- Deep knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent people leadership, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale regulatory projects and cross-functional initiatives.
