Details of the Job/Internship
Radisson Hotel Group is hiring for the position of Associate Director Legal with 7-8 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, sales and marketing agreements, and various other contracts with business partners and service providers.
- Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiations and review of hotel agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and reporting material deviations to the reporting manager.
- Legal Advisory: Seek and assess legal counsel from local attorneys specializing in hotel development and management contract issues.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in implementing legal policies and procedures, ensuring comprehension and compliance across relevant departments.
- Corporate Secretarial Duties: Manage corporate secretarial and regulatory matters for subsidiaries and affiliates registered in India.
- Document Drafting: Draft and review default notices, replies to legal notices, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
- Compliance Management: Assist in ensuring legal and insurance compliance for the portfolio.
- Contract Database Management: Coordinate contract database processes to track key contract terms, conditions, changes, timelines, and owner information accurately and promptly.
- Dispute Resolution: Support the resolution of legal disputes, including debt recovery and breach of contract cases, under the guidance of a supervisor and in coordination with external counsel.
- Litigation Coordination: Work with external counsel to handle litigation and intellectual property matters under supervision.
- Collections Support: Apply legal leverage to facilitate the recovery of outstanding accounts receivables.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring adherence to a safe and harassment-free work environment for all colleagues.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from a recognized Indian university.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- 7-8 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Legal experience in the hotel industry is a plus.
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in corporate secretarial functions is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Salary/Stipend
