Details of the Job/Internship

Ola Electric and Krutrim are hiring an Associate Director – Legal with 12–16 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with distributors, OEMs, enterprise customers, and channel partners.
• Support agile and compliant GTM execution including product launches, warranties, after-sales, and marketing.
• Advise on AI governance, data usage, licensing, and responsible AI frameworks under DPDP, GDPR, and emerging Indian laws.
• Shape internal policies for responsible and ethical AI use.
• Protect and commercialize intellectual property, algorithms, and proprietary datasets.
• Implement data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, including cross-border data compliance.
• Manage regulatory risks, litigation, disputes, and external counsel strategies.
• Provide business-focused legal advice to senior leadership.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (LL.M. preferred).
• 12–16 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles.
• Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of DPDP, GDPR, AI regulations, consumer law, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to balance legal risks with business agility.
• Leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring experience preferred.
• Growth-oriented and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work in fast-paced markets.
