The firm represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration and acts for multinational corporations, financial institutions, public sector undertakings, large domestic businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.
Details of the Job/Internship
Strata Law is hiring an Associate (Litigation & Arbitration) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Mayfair Gardens, New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, and supporting affidavits.
- Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on commercial, corporate, and arbitration matters.
- Developing case strategy and assisting in formulating legal arguments.
- Attending court hearings, managing filings, and engaging with courts and tribunals.
- Contributing to business development and client relationship management.
- Collaborating closely with senior advocates and external counsel on complex matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognised institution with enrolment at a State Bar Council.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in litigation and/or arbitration.
- Currently based in New Delhi/NCR.
- Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, and arbitration law.
- Demonstrated drafting experience across pleadings and applications.
- Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with court procedures and filing practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience at a litigation or arbitration-focused firm or chambers preferred.
- LL.M. and/or dual qualification preferred.
- Familiarity with institutional arbitration rules preferred.
- Reported appearances or published work preferred.
