Details of the Job/Internship
Trilegal is hiring an Associate for its Financial Regulatory Practice with 1–3 years of experience in financial regulation, compliance, or risk advisory.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide advisory on SEBI and RBI circulars, master directions, and enforcement trends.
- Support development of regulatory change management frameworks and impact assessments.
- Assist in preparing responses to inspections, show cause notices, and supervisory communications.
- Draft and review compliance policies, manuals, and governance documents.
- Conduct gap analyses and support enterprise-wide compliance frameworks.
- Support AML/CFT programs, KYC procedures, and fraud risk control measures.
- Assist in developing market conduct and insider trading prevention frameworks.
- Contribute to board-level governance initiatives and senior accountability alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Credit, Operations) for regulatory program execution.
- Support training and awareness initiatives on regulatory developments.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Finance, Law, Public Policy, Economics, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial regulation, compliance, or risk advisory.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting, risk frameworks, or inspections is a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work across teams.
