Details of the Job/Internship
Sigma Chambers is hiring an Associate – General Corporate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Uday Park/South Ex, New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and close commercial contracts including SaaS, IP licensing, and cross-border agreements.
- Advise founders and CXOs on structuring, fundraising, and regulatory strategies.
- Liaise with regulators, industry bodies, and consultants to shape policy outcomes.
- Develop scalable compliance and governance frameworks.
- Handle strategic transactions such as investment rounds, M&A, joint ventures, and asset transfers.
- Lead legal due diligence for investors and acquirers.
- Conduct client workshops on tech regulations in sectors like drones, crypto-assets, and social media.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years PQE in corporate or commercial practice (law firm or in-house).
- Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage client deliverables and deadlines.
- Business-first mindset and understanding of deal value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach with willingness to mentor juniors.
