Micron Technology is hiring for the position of Associate General Counsel - Legal EHS with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal counsel to Micron’s EHS teams and business leaders to ensure compliance with global and regional EHS laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Partner with EHS professionals to address non-compliance events, government inquiries, and investigations. Engage directly with EHS regulatory agencies across Micron’s Asia-based operations.
- Product Compliance: Advise on product-related EHS regulatory requirements and support the implementation of relevant compliance measures.
- Sustainability Support: Offer legal insight and support to Micron’s sustainability and environmental performance programs.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and revise EHS-related contract terms and clauses to reflect company policies and applicable legal requirements.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Advise on EHS aspects of M&A transactions, including legal due diligence and integration planning.
- Training & Education: Develop and deliver legal training programs focused on EHS matters for internal teams.
- Litigation & Enforcement: Support litigation and regulatory matters related to EHS, including interactions with governmental agencies and enforcement actions.
- Policy Monitoring: Track evolving EHS legal and regulatory developments in Asia and assist in formulating proactive strategies to manage potential impacts.
- Outside Counsel Management: Coordinate with and oversee external legal counsel and consultants as needed.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders, with occasional international travel to Micron’s manufacturing sites.
Eligibility
- 4+ years of legal experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department, with demonstrated expertise in EHS-related matters.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven record of integrity, ethical conduct, and sound legal judgment.
Salary/Stipend
