Details of the Job/Internship
Meta is hiring an Associate General Counsel (APAC Monetization) with 8+ years of experience to join its Business Messaging product counseling team in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal risk mitigation strategies for global products, policies, and initiatives.
- Advise product, engineering, and business teams on data protection, competition law, IP, marketing, and related regulations.
- Collaborate with public policy, partnerships, compliance, communications, and other teams on multidisciplinary issues.
- Partner with attorneys from privacy, regulatory, commercial, and litigation teams on cross-functional matters.
Eligibility
- Law degree or equivalent certificate, licensed and authorized to practice law in assigned jurisdiction.
- 8+ years of legal experience (law firm or in-house) in technology and product development.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
