Details of the Job/Internship

Clergy and Wisemen LLP is hiring a Legal Associate (0–2 years PQE) for its General Litigation team. The role involves active participation in civil, consumer, and commercial litigation before trial and appellate courts, with opportunities for pan-India practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft plaints, petitions, replies, applications, and written submissions.
• Appear before trial courts, High Courts, tribunals, and forums across India.
• Conduct legal research on procedural and substantive issues.
• Assist senior lawyers in strategy formulation and case preparation.
• Collaborate with the litigation team for effective case management.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university; enrolled with a Bar Council.
• 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
• Strong drafting skills and understanding of CPC, Evidence Act, and related laws.
• Good communication, research, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel for pan-India litigation work.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
