Details of the Job/Internship
Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP is hiring an Associate (General Practice) with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in matters involving general litigation, debt recovery, and insolvency (IBC).
- Carry out legal research and draft pleadings, legal notices, and varied commercial agreements.
- Prosecute cases and appear before different courts and tribunals, including briefing senior counsels.
- Handle corporate commercial transactions, including M&As, Joint Ventures, and PE investments.
- Draft and negotiate specialized technology agreements, license agreements, and franchise deeds.
- Support real estate practice and private client matters.
- Travel across India for court proceedings and client meetings as required.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized university.
- Enrollment: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a General Practice lawyer, preferably with a small or mid-sized firm.
- Competencies: Strong drafting skills, fluency in English, and experience in court appearances.
- Academics: Above-average academic credentials and a high level of motivation.
