Details of the Job/Internship
Perfetti Van Melle is hiring an Associate Head – Legal with 13–15 years of experience with 7-8 years of corporate experience to oversee corporate, contractual, and compliance functions at its Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counsel across corporate, commercial, intellectual property, employment, and data privacy laws.
- Draft, review, negotiate, execute, and terminate contracts while mitigating legal and strategic risks.
- Ensure compliance with FSSA, Legal Metrology, Companies Act, Labour, and Environmental Laws.
- Collaborate with compliance committees to develop internal policies and promote best practices.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes efficiently.
- Handle intellectual property management and coordinate with Group Legal & IP on enforcement actions.
- Manage employment law matters, internal investigations, and compliance with DPDPA and waste management regulations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); postgraduate qualifications preferred.
- 13–15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 7–8 years in corporate legal roles.
- Proven expertise in corporate law, compliance, litigation, and contract management.
- Prior experience in FMCG, FMCD, manufacturing, or consumer goods sectors preferred.
