Details of the Job/Internship
They are looking to hire a lawyer in our IBC litigation vertical with brilliant research and analytical skills. Lawyer is expected to display sound judgment and decision-making with outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
To ensure success, lawyers should be determined, professional and well informed with a keen interest in upholding the law while protecting the client's rights.
Role and Responsibilities
- Should be well aware of the compliances, procedures and process as envisaged under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Dealing with all legal matters including preparing, drafting of demand notices, applications, company petitions, replies, rejoinders, writ petitions, appeals and SLPs for filing with different adjudicating authorities and courts. - Represent / appear before various National Company Law Tribunals, National Company Law Appellate Tribunals, High Courts and Supreme Court in legal matters.
- Briefing and assisting the counsels in legal research, drafting of written submission & written notes of arguments etc.
- Coordinating with other teams to provide a wholesome advice to clients.
- Being updated with laws, amendments & landmark judgements passed by the courts.
- Conduct research to support legal cases.
- Maintain and update databases for client relations and case management.
- Communicate with clients and external counsel via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Actively contribute towards knowledge development by writing blogs and article on relevant legal topics.
- Manage & coordinate with local associates / lawyers across India.
Eligibility
- LLB with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proactive and self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in team in time bound manner.
- Good Command over written, spoken language (English, Marathi & Hindi).
- Excellent communication & written skills.
- Knowledge of using MS Office, MS Excel, and PowerPoint tools
- Flexible & able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
