Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate – Indirect Tax Advisory with experience of 6 months to 2 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions.
- Draft advisory notes, opinions, and compliance reports.
- Prepare presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
- Analyse client data to estimate tax impact on transactions.
- Build scenarios to identify tax-efficient business models.
- Assist in drafting submissions, replies to notices, and appeals.
- Represent clients before tax authorities along with seniors.
- Manage multiple clients and take responsibility for smaller accounts.
- Stay updated with legal developments and contribute to knowledge management.
- Identify new opportunities and support client relationship management.
Eligibility
- CA or Law graduate from a reputed institution.
- 6 months to 2 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax (GST and/or customs preferred).
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and reliable approach to work.
