Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate – Indirect Tax Advisory & Litigation with experience of 0–1 years to join their office in Jaipur. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal and tax provisions.
• Draft advisory notes, opinions, and compliance reports.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
• Analyse client data to estimate tax impact on business transactions.
• Build scenarios to identify tax-efficient business models.
• Assist in preparing submissions, replies to notices, and appeals before tax authorities.
• Support representation in litigation matters along with senior professionals.
• Execute assignments for multiple clients and manage smaller clients independently.
• Build professional relationships with client management teams.
• Contribute to articles, monographs, and knowledge management activities.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in tax laws, circulars, notifications, and judicial decisions.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic track record.
• 0–1 years of post-qualification experience in indirect or direct tax advisory or litigation.
• Prior experience in indirect tax matters such as GST and/or customs is preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.

Salary/Stipend
