Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate in International Trade with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Delhi. The role involves handling matters related to indirect tax, customs, and audit, along with research, drafting, and analysis in international trade law.
Role and Responsibilities
- Brief senior management on matters handled.
- Prepare financial and cost data, conduct quantitative analysis, and draft reports.
- Draft legal opinions, notes, and reports.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations on international trade and related topics.
- Monitor legal developments in international trade and update team members.
Eligibility
- CA or LLB qualification.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax, customs, or audit.
- Strong analytical, legal drafting, and research skills.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Knowledge of international trade agreements, tariffs, and customs procedures preferred.
- Ability to take ownership of assignments and work independently.
