Details of the Job/Internship

They are looking for a dynamic and motivated Associate (IP Litigation) with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their New Delhi office. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling intellectual property disputes, trademark and copyright infringement cases, domain name disputes, passing-off actions, and related contentious matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Handle IP litigation matters, including trademark, copyright, and patent disputes before various courts, tribunals, and authorities.
• Drafting & Pleadings: Prepare pleadings, written statements, legal notices, cease & desist letters, oppositions, and appellate filings.
• Court Appearances: Appear before the Delhi High Court, District Courts, and other forums as required.
• Legal Research & Advisory: Conduct in-depth research on case laws, statutes, and international precedents for effective case strategy.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• 1-2 years of PQE in intellectual property litigation.
• Strong understanding of IP laws in India, including the Trademarks Act and Copyright Act.
• Prior experience in handling contentious IP matters, drafting pleadings, and appearing in courts.
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
