Aletheiaa Legal is hiring an Associate – IPR & Commercial Contracts (Fresher) to join its Bengaluru office in a hybrid work setup. The role offers an opportunity to work on intellectual property matters and commercial contracts while receiving mentorship and training from experienced professionals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with trademark, copyright, and design filings (Indian and international).
- Conduct IP searches, prepare reports, and support IP portfolio management, oppositions, and assignments.
- Draft notices, responses, and submissions for IP enforcement and litigation.
- Conduct legal research on IP law developments (Indian and global).
- Draft, review, and proofread commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, licensing, distribution, and franchise agreements.
- Support contract lifecycle management, redlining, template standardization, and due diligence for M&A and IP-led transactions.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Strong interest in IPR and commercial contracts.
- Prior internships in IPR or corporate law firms (preferred).
- Good legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Eager to learn, collaborate, and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Familiarity with IP databases and contract tools (preferred but not mandatory).
- Enrolled with Bar Council or awaiting enrollment results.
