Details of the Job/Internship
Kunal Khanna & Co. is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its IPR litigation practice at its Jangpura, New Delhi office. The role is on-site and focuses on intellectual property litigation, including counterfeit enforcement and digital infringement matters, with immediate joining.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file plaints, written statements, injunction applications, replies, and other pleadings in IP matters.
- Assist in counterfeit enforcement actions, including preparation of search and seizure requests, briefing local commissioners, and coordination with enforcement agencies.
- Handle online brand protection, including notice-and-takedown actions on e-commerce platforms, social media, and websites.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis, and prepare case notes and strategy briefs.
- Manage day-to-day case follow-ups with clients, court staff, and registries, and maintain organised case files and evidence.
- Attend court hearings and assist seniors and counsel in litigation strategy.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 2–3 years of experience in IPR litigation.
- Demonstrated interest in trademark and copyright enforcement.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and a team player.
- Mandatory on-site presence at the office.
