Details of the Job/Internship
MV Kini Law Firm is hiring Associate Lawyers with experience of 2–3 years to join their Banking & Finance (DRT/DRAT) litigation team in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file applications, written statements, affidavits, counter-affidavits, appeal memos, and other pleadings before DRT and DRAT.
- Regularly appear, argue, and conduct matters before various benches of DRT and DRAT.
- Develop legal strategies for securing and enforcing creditors’ rights and advise clients on recovery proceedings.
- Conduct legal research on case laws, amendments, and statutory provisions relating to debt recovery and banking laws.
- Liaise with client legal and recovery teams to provide updates and legal opinions.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with a State Bar Council and holding a valid Sanad.
- 2 to 3 years of focused post-qualification experience in DRT and DRAT litigation.
- Deep understanding of procedural and substantive debt recovery laws including the RDDB Act and SARFAESI Act.
- Exceptional advocacy, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently under strict deadlines with strong professional integrity and communication skills.
