Details of the Job/Internship
Legodesk is hiring for the position of Associate Lawyer (Litigation) to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft written statements, miscellaneous applications, replies, and police complaints.
- Review, draft, and vet contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
- Draft replies to notices received from advocates, regulators, and enforcement authorities.
- Retrieve case-specific details to prepare applications, notices, and replies.
- Assist clients in Arbitration, Lok Adalats, conciliation, and recovery matters.
- Onboard and coordinate with lawyers across cities as per client requirements.
- Maintain MIS for litigation against the company, senior management, and officers.
- Track case progress and follow up with advocates/legal officers.
- Ensure timely processing of advocate/vendor bills.
- Support legal operations including case filings and dispatch of legal notices.
Eligibility
- LL.B (3-year or 5-year integrated law degree).
- Prior experience in litigation across consumer, civil, criminal, or insolvency matters.
- Strong drafting, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), internet research, and video/communication tools.
