Details of the Job/Internship

AMS Legal – Advocates & Solicitors is hiring Associate Lawyers (Non-Litigation) with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Corporate Legal Transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Assist in corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Real Estate Transactions
  • Advise on acquisitions, leases, and joint development agreements.
  • Review and draft sale deeds, lease agreements, and title documents.
  • Conduct property title searches and legal verifications.
• Research and Advisory
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on corporate and real estate laws.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice.
• Client Interaction
  • Assist in client consultations and coordination.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and provide strategic inputs.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in corporate and/or real estate law.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and write in Tamil and English.

Salary/Stipend
