Details of the Job/Internship
Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is hiring for the position of Associate Lawyer with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on matters relating to corporate and securities law, including regulatory compliance and governance.
- Appear before SEBI, SAT, and other regulatory forums; handle litigation and quasi-judicial proceedings.
- Draft legal documents such as replies, appeals, legal opinions, and arbitration filings.
- Engage in Stock Exchange Arbitration matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare client-facing documents and presentations.
- Maintain active client interaction to understand requirements and provide strategic legal solutions.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of securities law and financial regulations.
- Proficient in legal drafting, research, and litigation support.
- Experience in interacting with clients and regulatory authorities.
- Interest in capital markets and evolving regulatory frameworks.
- Qualification: LL.B.
- Experience: 1–3 years.
