Details of the Job/Internship
Kshetry & Co. is hiring an Associate Lawyer with 2–5 years of experience to join their Kolkata office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle and follow up on court cases and hearings.
- Maintain court diaries, case schedules, and documentation.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, petitions, and agreements.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare case notes.
- Coordinate with clients, counsels, and senior associates on case strategy.
- Represent clients before courts and legal forums.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams for multi-jurisdictional matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) with Bar Council enrollment.
- 2–5 years of experience in litigation, drafting, and client servicing.
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Criminal, Corporate, and Commercial laws.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage case documentation efficiently.
- Familiarity with legal tech tools preferred.
