Details of the Job/Internship
The Law Office of Shameem Ahmed is hiring an Associate Lawyer for a full-time, on-site role in Ernakulam.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research related to corporate, commercial, and taxation laws.
- Drafting legal documents and advisory notes.
- Representing clients in legal proceedings and court matters.
- Liaising with clients and maintaining professional client relationships.
- Collaborating with senior lawyers for case preparation and presentation.
- Ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining client confidentiality.
Eligibility
- Basic knowledge and strong interest in corporate law, commercial law, and taxation law.
- Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case analysis, including familiarity with Manupatra and other legal journals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Understanding of litigation procedures and court practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification with Bar Council enrollment.
- Prior experience in corporate or legal advisory services is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical legal practice and confidentiality.
