Details of the Job/Internship
MV Kini Law Firm is hiring an Associate Lawyer with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in DRT/DRAT matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and file applications, written statements, affidavits, counter-affidavits, appeal memos, and other pleadings before DRT and DRAT.
- Appear, argue, and conduct matters before various benches of DRT and DRAT across jurisdictions.
- Develop legal strategies to secure and enforce creditors’ rights, advising clients on SARFAESI Act, 2002, and RDDB Act, 1993.
- Conduct thorough legal research on case laws, statutory provisions, and amendments relevant to debt recovery and banking laws.
- Liaise directly with client legal and recovery teams to provide updates, receive instructions, and offer sound legal opinions.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in DRT and DRAT litigation.
- Enrollment with a State Bar Council and possession of a valid Sanad.
- Deep understanding of procedural and substantive laws related to debt recovery, RDDB Act, and SARFAESI Act.
- Strong advocacy, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently under strict deadlines.
