Details of the Job/Internship

Neo Legal is hiring an Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Dubai Media City. The role involves handling advanced legal work, supporting cross-border matters and contributing to a growing, technology-focused practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Handling corporate structuring, incorporations, share transfers, reorganisations and governance matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Supporting M&A transactions including due diligence, term sheets, SPA/SSA drafting and closing processes.
• Advising on UAE regulatory frameworks and supporting regulatory applications, submissions and licensing matters.
• Preparing legal opinions, memos and compliance assessments for blockchain, fintech, tokenisation and Web3 projects.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for clients and preparing legal briefs, research notes and advisory communications.
• Managing matter timelines and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Supporting partners on high-value or complex matters.
• Supervising junior lawyers, trainees and corporate administrators when required.
• Ensuring proper document management, version control and internal compliance.
• Contributing to thought leadership including articles, guides and updates.

Eligibility

• 3–5 years PQE in corporate, commercial or law firm practice, with UAE or international experience acceptable.
• Law degree from a recognised university.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage clients and advise on a broad range of commercial matters.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong interest in emerging technology, fintech or digital assets, or willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Experience with ADGM, DIFC, FSRA, DFSA or VARA regulatory frameworks.
• Bonus: Exposure to startups, venture capital work or cross-border structuring.

Salary/Stipend
