Details of the Job/Internship

The Associate Lawyer will independently manage a broad spectrum of legal matters, including civil and criminal cases, MSME disputes, small-court proceedings, and property-related issues.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle civil, criminal, MSME, small-court, and property-related matters independently from start to finish.
• Draft pleadings, agreements, notices, petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case notes, analyses, and briefs.
• Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies, and authorities.
• Manage case preparation, including evidence collection, client interviews, document review, and brief preparation.
• Attend court hearings, arbitration sessions, negotiations, and client meetings.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Provide legal opinions and compliance guidance on regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with clients, government departments, enforcement agencies, and regulators.
• Keep updated on legal amendments, policy changes, and developments relevant to the role.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Bar Council with a valid practice license.
• 1–2 years of experience in litigation or general legal practice.
• Strong drafting, research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational ability, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.

Salary/Stipend
