Details of the Job/Internship
Sonia and Partners is hiring an Associate Lawyer to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to clients in criminal and family law matters.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Draft and proofread petitions, contracts, and legal documents.
- Represent clients in court and assist with litigation procedures.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support the preparation of legal strategies in coordination with senior management.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a client-centred approach.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with enrollment with the Bar Council of India is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Criminal Law and Family Law, including divorce and child custody matters.
- Proficiency in legal research, documentation, and case preparation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in criminal defence or family law practice is preferred.
