Details of the Job/Internship

White & Brief - Advocates and Solicitors is hiring an Associate with a minimum of 3 years PQE to independently manage litigation matters across civil, criminal, and arbitration domains. The role involves drafting, client representation, and handling cases from start to finish while maintaining high standards of legal practice.

Role and Responsibilities

• Appear before district courts, High Courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.
• Visit police stations and coordinate with law enforcement authorities.
• Manage end-to-end litigation including civil disputes, criminal matters, and arbitration proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, complaints, petitions, affidavits, notices, applications, and arbitration claims/responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies, notes, and opinions.
• Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and regulatory/enforcement authorities.
• Manage hearings, filings, procedural compliance, and overall case progress.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognised university; enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification litigation experience.
• Experience across civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
• Strong drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in Marathi (reading and speaking).
• Ability to manage cases independently and take ownership.
• Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to client service and courtroom conduct.

Salary/Stipend
