I'm searching for someone with a broad range of technical, business, and legal abilities, as well as experience developing processes, managing data quality operations, reconciling contracts, developing KPIs and reports, and keeping accurate data inside the S&P Global contracts database platform.
Role and Responsibilities
Role: To assist in the management and coordination of SPGMI Legal. The primary duties will be to help the global team on a legal and administrative level. The position will also help coworkers in the workplace use the various contract tools, such as the contracts database and other office programs.
Responsibilities:
- In a timely manner, respond to internal client questions ("hotline") on legal and contract matters.
- Review submitted deal requests, which may include making minor changes to contract documents in accordance with the current scope established by the Legal Operations team. This includes examining draft contracts created by Sales or other internal clients.
- Enter the information about completed contracts into the contracts database. review significant commercial and legal provisions of concluded contracts accurately and promptly, and enter such provisions in the contracts database.
- Performing investigations into contract administrative difficulties (such as figuring out whether a contract is still "active" or being billed by PIMS); interacting with the sales administration personnel and other business staff to find out the status of contracts.
- Suggests chances for automation and process improvement.
- Boilerplate library upkeep (including translations) and ownership (in network drives and database platforms) include notifications about boilerplate modifications.
- Respond to letters requesting entity changes, assignments, and terminations.
- Work with internal database users to create reports from the contracts database, including simple and complicated reports. Establish reporting methods and

- Aid in the data quality assurance of the apps used by the department, the department's intranet website, and the contracts database.
- Special initiatives that the manager has allocated.
Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree is necessary.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support roles and positions connected to law or paralaws.
- 2+ years of expertise using data analysis tools and procedures and evaluating data.
- Collaboration skills with other business or technological teams.
- Understanding of intricate legal, financial, and technological licensing terms and contracts.
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of databases, and SQL is a bonus.
- Must be able to work throughout US business hours.
