Details of the Job/Internship

Schbang is hiring an Associate Legal-Compliance with experience of 4 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

Compliance Management

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and ensure timely adaptation of policies.
• Manage risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.

Legal Documentation

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain an organized repository of all legal and compliance-related documents.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and aligned with company interests.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on compliance requirements, ethical practices, and company policies.
• Develop awareness campaigns to reinforce a compliance-driven culture.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Manage registrations, renewals, and submissions for applicable licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely submission of statutory filings and reports.

Internal Audits & Investigations

• Support internal audits and investigations related to compliance breaches, data privacy, or ethical misconduct.
• Recommend corrective measures and monitor their implementation.

Risk Management

• Work closely with the management team to address compliance risks proactively.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Eligibility

• 4-5 years in a relevant field of work.
