Details of the Job/Internship
Swiss Re is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel with 10–13 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for Swiss Re’s business operations in India.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on business activities.
- Advise on regulatory requirements applicable to reinsurance contracts and claims.
- Support compliance functions, including training and governance matters.
- Draft and review contracts, legal agreements, and corporate documents.
- Handle corporate filings and liaison with statutory authorities.
- Provide legal guidance on employee-related issues.
- Support APAC regional legal and compliance initiatives.
Eligibility
- India-qualified lawyer with 10–13 years of PQE.
- Bar Council registration preferred.
- Experience in reinsurance/insurance and court proceedings is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
