Examples include end-to-end contract management, compliance including export control screenings, data management, and digitalization.

ALTEN Global Technologies Private Limited is hiring for the position of Associate Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting or reviewing NDAs, obtaining signatures, and escalating when there is a deviation from Alten standard parameters. Drafting or reviewing SOWs, obtaining signatures, and escalating when there is a deviation from Alten standard parameters.
- Review services contracts with vendors or subcontractors, either those prepared on the basis of Alten standard templates or contracts received from counterparties.
- To be involved in the negotiation of complex contractual queries & identification of risks and issues and suggesting alternatives that lead to the best solution.
- Analyze contract requirements, terms and conditions, and other content to ensure compliance with appropriate laws.
- Legal research on certain points of law, as and when required. Assist in policy updates from time to time. Support the due diligence process and coordinate compliance screening of third parties.
- Support the deployment of the Compliance Program and provide assistance to manage as compliance ambassador.
- Assist in conducting legal training for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain an air-tight repository of all executed contracts, consultant KYCs, compliance, and corporate documents. Maintain vendor or customer contract trackers.
- Attend to employment-related queries and documentation. File various forms for the purpose of business compliance of Alten.
Eligibility
- LLB.
- 2 to 5 years exposure in contracting.
- Exposure to Compliance including data privacy, anti-corruption, export control, and trade sanctions.
- Some level of exposure using AI tools for legal management.
- 1 to 2 years of working experience in a global company.
- Excellent legal acumen and analytical skills.
- Strong networking skills and exposure to interacting with internal stakeholders and external service providers (Lawyers & company secretary).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Business and service-minded.
- Business ethics integrity.
- Well-organized and helpful in contract management.
