Details of the Job/Internship
Sonia and Partners is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel with 2–5 years of litigation experience in family law and criminal defense to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law and criminal defense matters.
- Handle evidence recording, cross-examinations, and oral arguments in civil and family courts.
- Draft complaints, bail applications, affidavits, petitions, replies, rejoinders, and legal notices.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Attend court proceedings and manage timelines in coordination with court staff.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized institution; enrolled with Bar Council of India.
- 2–3 years of hands-on litigation experience in family and criminal courts.
- Proficient in drafting and courtroom advocacy.
- Exposure to property disputes and commercial suits is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
