Details of the Job/Internship
Akhila Bolla & Associates is hiring a Junior Litigation Associate with 1–2 years of experience in litigation to join their office in Bengaluru. Only residents are eligible.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and filing legal pleadings, applications, notices, and submissions before DRT, Civil Courts, Lok Adalat, NCLT, and Magistrate Court.
- Representing clients in various forums, coordinating with court clerks, drafting, and attending hearings.
- Conducting legal research and case law analysis.
- Assisting seniors in drafting and client briefing.
- Ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with procedural formalities.
Eligibility
- LLB graduate with 1–2 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in recovery or financial disputes.
- Fluency in Kannada (speaking, reading, and drafting).
- Must be based in Bangalore and willing to travel across courts and tribunals.
- Good knowledge of SARFAESI Act, NI Act, 1881 (Section 138), Civil Procedure Code (including Section 25), and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
- Strong legal drafting, communication, and client-handling skills.
