Details of the Job/Internship

A.P. Moller – Maersk is hiring an Associate Data Privacy Legal Counsel to join its Mumbai office, ensuring compliance with Indian and global data privacy laws. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise local management to ensure compliance with legal requirements, regulations, and Maersk internal policies.
• Assist in implementing and embedding data privacy and compliance controls in India.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for local data privacy matters.
• Monitor and support execution of data privacy compliance activities by local entities.

Eligibility

• Legal education with experience in data privacy, particularly Indian data privacy laws and regulations.
• Interest in global data privacy compliance.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, think strategically, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
