Details of the Job/Internship
GetVantage is hiring a Legal Manager – NBFC with 2–6 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet agreements including loan agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and co-lending agreements.
- Standardize legal templates and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs.
- Handle compliance related to KYC, outsourcing, co-lending, and digital lending norms.
- Advise on laws such as the Companies Act and DPDP Act.
- Manage litigation matters including Section 138, arbitration, and recovery proceedings.
- Coordinate with external counsels and track case progress.
- Draft legal notices, replies, and pleadings.
- Advise on recovery actions and enforcement proceedings.
- Provide legal opinions to business and risk teams.
- Support new product launches from a legal perspective.
- Assist in legal audits and identify risk mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. preferred.
- 2–6 years of experience in NBFC, banking, or fintech sectors.
- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations and financial laws.
- Experience in drafting, negotiation, and litigation handling.
- Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
