Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring Associate Legal Counsel with the experience of 1 to 4 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, structuring and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts (such as Master Services Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Business Alliance Partner Agreements, Non-disclosure Agreements, Letter of Engagements, Statement of Work, Data Transfer Agreement etc.)
- Contract negotiations with both internal business teams and clients (across multiple jurisdictions)
- Assisting with RFI/RFP responses and opportunities for the company.
- Providing advice to internal stakeholders on various contractual positions and corporate policies by assessing the risk and proposing appropriate mitigations.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders for addressing contractual requirements/ queries.
- Support with standardizing processes and templates for efficient and effective delivery of legal support.
- Assist with dispute resolution relating to commercial contracts.
Eligibility
- A Law Degree from a reputed university or law school.
- Work Experience: 1-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as an in-house counsel will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, drafting and research skills.
- Good domain knowledge (including understanding of Commercial and Data Privacy laws).
- High cognitive ability and ability to conduct effective negotiations.
- Analytical ability to tap and integrate all relevant data and to quantify all risk elements.
- Ability to represent (internally and externally) the best interests of the organization.
