Morningstar India Private Ltd. is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their legal team in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support legal operations across the Americas, EMEA, and India under the guidance of regional legal counsel.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in areas such as procurement, HR, IT, and finance.
- Provide legal insights on HR-related matters and manage contract processes.
- Collaborate with global legal teams to meet contractual deadlines.
- Conduct legal research, due diligence, and assist with data privacy matters in the APJ region.
- Maintain and update contract documentation systematically.
- Identify legal risks and suggest practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel on investigations and compliance.
Eligibility
- Law degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial agreement drafting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Business-minded with a focus on practical legal solutions.
