Details of the Job/Internship
SES is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Chennai, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts and tender responses in compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide legal advice and risk assessment to commercial teams on projects, bids, and initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda in various legal fields.
- Support transactional work and legal matters across company divisions.
- Assist affiliates and subsidiaries on legal aspects as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree or LL.M. in Law.
- Bar qualification is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred.
- Experience in the telecommunications or media sector is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory.
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
