Details of the Job/Internship
Suren Uppal Offices (SUO) is hiring a Law Associate with 1–4 years of experience to join its office in Noida, NCR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, written submissions, affidavits, and related documents for matters before courts and tribunals.
- Draft and vet agreements, MOUs, term sheets, undertakings, and commercial documents.
- Conduct legal and policy research on issues arising in ongoing matters and opinions.
- Prepare notes, briefs, and research memoranda on cases and questions of law.
- Appear before courts, tribunals, boards, and commissions.
- Assist in case preparation, legal strategy, and drafting.
- Undertake legal writing and prepare white papers on law and policy issues.
- Travel across India for court appearances and case assistance.
- Perform other related legal and professional responsibilities as required.
Eligibility
- LLB degree from a university or institute recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- 1–4 years of experience in dispute resolution or general corporate practice.
- Strong foundational understanding of law and legal principles.
