Details of the Job/Internship
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel – Employment Laws with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in handling disciplinary action cases, including reviewing letters, charge sheets, enquiry reports, and final orders.
- Support stakeholders in POSH matters, including drafting orders and preparing meeting minutes.
- Provide legal advice to HR and Vigilance teams on employment and disciplinary matters.
- Manage cases related to labour and employment law against the bank through legal research and advice.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws such as CLRA, gratuity, ESI, PF, and bonus.
- Vet HR policies and employee-related legal documents.
- Assist the legal team in appearances before labour courts, tribunals, and other forums.
Eligibility
- Graduated in Law from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years PQE, preferably in a law firm or legal/HR department of a bank, NBFC, or financial institution.
