Details of the Job/Internship
Vivriti Asset Management is hiring Associate Legal Counsel with the experience of 5 to 6 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting of PPM, Contribution Agreement, Trust Deed, Investment Management Agreement etc.
- Co-ordinating and preparing annual updates to PPM and Contribution Agreements.
- To prepare and pursue AIF applications required under SEBI AIF Regulations, ability to conduct research over MCA portal and Companies Act filing for charge creation etc.
- Drafting of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Distribution Agreement, Engagement Letters etc.
- Drafting and negotiation of debenture issue documentation, security documents on the investments by AIFs.
Eligibility
- Be a qualified lawyer with 5-6 years of experience working in a law firm or with a legal department of asset management company.
- Prior experience under legal team of fund management company and alternative investment funds or working as a part of a law firm with its asset management/funds practice will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds.
- Understanding of credit products, loans and debentures.
- Good research skills and skills in dealing with external advisors/service providers.
- Possess good oral, written communication, and interaction skills.
- Be ambitious and passionate and ability to work effectively under pressure.
