Details of the Job/Internship
Vivriti Asset Management is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its legal team. The role involves legal structuring of transactions, providing legal advice to internal stakeholders, and managing corporate legal support functions across business operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence from a lender’s perspective, including review of contracts, borrowing documents, and title search reports.
- Carry out research over MCA portal for charge creation and related filings.
- Identify and articulate legal risks, and prepare diligence summary reports.
- Draft and negotiate debenture issue documentation and structured credit instruments.
- Advise on security creation documentation.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and ensure adherence.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or legal department of an asset management company, NBFC, or bank.
- Knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds.
- Strong understanding of credit products, loans, and debentures.
- Good research skills and ability to liaise with external advisors.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ambitious, passionate, and able to work effectively under pressure.
